Like most of the pubs, lounges across Kathmandu/ Pokhara, “busy bee” is located inside a tiny lane on the main Pokhara street. It might even go unnoticed, but once yu’ve entered its premises, your whole idea as yu enetered the lane will change. Its thriving with all kinds of people, eating, drinking or just enjoying the in-house live band that plays 3-4 times during a week. The band is a great asset for the pub and they are realllyyyy good. Probably what keeps the crowd coming back again and again. A small, confined but good enough dance floor keeping the crowd together and bringing out tonnes of energy from your feet (expect your feet stamped by high-on-energy strangers). Of course the place itself is an awesome hangout with great service even on a new years’ eve. The number of tables they have occupied/ organized on a 3-mezzazine floored area with 3-bar allocated spaces is remarkable. No doubt you have to show up well before time to get a table, but once you are there, you are bound to have an amazing evening.
Do enjoy some Nepali numbers from the band and watch the crowd go crazy.
